Landscape after landscape
I do love the landscape alcohol ink technique! I played and played with this one, wiped it almost clean and came up with a foggy looking background that I couldn't resist finishing! Such a fun technique I learned from Tim Holtz's online Creative Chemistry class!

CC 103 Day 5
Well, yippee for Yupo! This is a real different type of cardstock to do all sorts of yummy things on it. Day 5 was a challenge to me. As I was working on my tags I did not think that they were turning out too well until I was finished and had mounted them on a tag and I stood back and thought, Wow, I did that???!!! Ha ha ha! Yes, anyone can accomplish some very creative tags just by taking Tim Holtz's online Creative Chemistry 103 classes! Just remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Well, I am burning the midnight oil tonight trying to stay up to date with my Tim Holtz online classes for Creative Chemistry 103! Life sometimes gets in the way BUT when there is a will there is a way! Yes, I have to get up at 6:00AM for work but I will just have to power through that! I finished all but one technique tonight because I am waiting for a product to arrive by mail. Here are my finished tags! I love how they turned out! Still having fun!
CC 103 Day 2
Monday, August 1, 2016
Wow! I haven't blogged forever it seems! Life has taken me around and around and back again. After a stressful year of becoming a Grandma for the fourth time but to a baby boy that was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, basically a half a heart. After much worry and prayers we have been blessed with the best case scenario for this condition! He is 10 months old now and full of piss and vinegar! Standing at the foot of his bed after his second open heart surgery, when he was just 5 months old, I received a phone call from the nursing home in which I had just placed my Mother 3 weeks prior. They said she needed hospice so I rushed 1 1/2 hrs to her bedside only to lose her the next morning. Needless to say I had lost my mojo! But through time and prayers and then since Tim Holtz decided to teach CC 103 it got me up and running again! And boy does it feel good! This was day 1 of classes and out of respect for Tim I cannot discuss the techniques but I can display my work! I decided to combine 2 of the techniques in my card below my tags. I love how it turned out! So FUN! I look forward to class every day now! If you haven't taken his classes before I highly recommend them! CC 101, CC 102, and now CC 103! Woo Hoo! Thanks Tim for getting me out of my funk!
