Nostalgia

I found some nostalgic stamps today while shopping. I fell in love with this bicycle! It is an Alesa Baker Designs/Impression Obsession, Inc. I bought the tree stamp in a Martha Stewart embossing kit for a real cheap price at TJ Maxx. I have purchased many of her punches through this store also at only $3.99! Whenever I see them I gobble them up! This card is a bit bigger. It measures 7 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches. I used pearlescence paper by Colorbok in green and an orange glitter paper by Best Occasions from Walmart. I used Antique Linen Distress embossing powder on the trees. I used lime green Stickles on the leaves of the trees, turquoise Stickles on the bicycle and Walnut Stain Distress Stickles on the bicycle seat and basket. Antique Bronze Distress Stickles were used on the pumpkin and lime green on it's leaves. I used pop dots on the bike and pumkin. I painted the bicycle stamp using paint Dabbers. The colors were Snow Cap, Pool and Espresso. I used Sunset Orange Dabber on the pumpkin stamp. I love the colors! I used Pool to paint inside the Wander Philosophy Tag and pinned it using one of Tim Holtz's Trinket Pin and Jump Ring. The inside stamp says, May you have a sweet ride through life. I think this was in the same line of stamps as the bicycle. I used Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink over top of the stamp using an applicator. It was fun to do something different!
