I made these little baby carriages for my daughter-in-law's baby shower.  She is having a boy this July!  It is my first grandchild.   I found a stamp at Hobby Lobby that said "baby boy" that fit perfectly on the carriage itself.  I used the simply charmed cartridge for the baby buggy.  we just taped them to a stick and placed it in the flower pots that served as table centerpieces as well as raffle gifts.  My sister made darling cut out cookies and originally I made the extra buggies to place on the bag holding the cookie but they were so pretty I didn't want to hide the cookie itself so I then had extra buggies.   I decided to tape them along the gift table for added decorations. It was a beautiful shower that my sister and sister-in-laws put together for me.  I also decided to knit him a sweater!  I used little monkey buttons and was quite thrilled with how it turned out!

Challenge #2 Dabber Resist Technique

Here is a tag that I made for the CC101FBGroup challenge.  It is the dabber resist technique using dabber paints instead of ink to stamp.

Faded Layers Technique/ Studio13 challenge

Here is my entry to Linda's blog challenge at  http://www.studiol3.blogspot.com/
This week we did a project on  page 43 of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 2
by Tim Holtz.  I will not divulge how to do the faded layers technique out of respect for Tim.  You will have to buy his book to find out how to do this technique!  It's worth it.
